- The following review session will be exclusive to helping students tackle problems from past exams, midterms, quizzes and problem sets. Your tutor will provide questions and solve from the following organic chemistry topics:
- Fundamental theories including resonance, hybridization, acid-base chemistry, stereochemistry, chairs and Newman projections.
- Alkene and Alkyne Reactions including carbocation stability, 1,2-rearrangements, Markovnikov and Anti-Markovnikov product, Borohydration, halogenation, stereo- and regis-selectivity.
- Carbonyl Reactions including assessing electrophilicity, Grignard reagents, NaBH4/LiAlH4, cyanohydrides, hemi-acetals/acetals, imines, cyanohydrides and protecting groups.
