- Drawing LCAO structures
- Key condensed formula (i.e., COOH, CHO NO2, CN etc.)
- Molecular orbital (MO) theory
- Bonding and antibonding orbitals
- Calculating Bond Order
- Drawing MO diagrams
- Molecular interaction (i.e. hydrogen bonding, Van der Waals forces) to determine boiling and melting points)
- Review Session will include problem solving from past Midterm questions.
- All registered students will receive "Midterm 1 Package" that includes multiple Midterms related to the above topics from previous years given by uOttawa Professors!
